| Veda Praxis was formed in October 2005 and started its business operations in December 2005. The word [Veda] is originally from Sansekert language means “Knowledge”, and [Praxis] is originally from an ancient European language means "Practicing". The idea behind the name is that we want to share and implement our knowledge to you and help you grow to be a bigger and better company.
We provide advisory services to our clients based on control perspectives, which distinguishes us from other professional firms. Veda Praxis is formed by experienced and dedicated professionals who are internationally certified and have wide experiences in variety of industries and professional services in multinational consulting firm. We believe that the understanding of international best practices and Indonesian culture is an essential factor to ensure the implementation of controls will meet the client's business requirements. In December 2003, He joined KAP. Amir Abadi Jusuf & Aryanto (Member of RSM International) as an IT Assurance and Advisory Manager. He was in-charge to develop a new group that will provide IT assurance and advisory services to client. In 2007 he join VedaPraxis as a Partner of this firm, where he employs his vast knowledge and experiences gained throughout his careers. During his work with above firms, He has involved in the audit, review and advisory to several Banks and securities related companies, such as: Bank Mandiri, LippoBank, Bank Bumiputra, Bank Commonwealth, Sanwa Bank, May Bank, Bank NTB, Standard Chartered (compliance), Bank of America (compliance), Bursa Efek Jakarta, Bursa Efek Surabaya, Danareksa Sekuritas, DBS Vickers Securities, Equity Development Securities and many more.
Achmad Oskar, CISA, CIA
Prior to Citibank Oskar joined Ernst & Young in 1998 to use his accounting and IT knowledge to work as an auditor. He involved in a large number of audit engagements, with clients ranging from banking & financial institutions to manufacturing. He also experienced in the audit of ERP applications such as SAP and ORACLE and specialized on the use of data analysis tools (ACL). He also involved in providing interactive training on information system audit approaches and techniques and the use of ACL. He passed the international CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) exam in 1999 and acquired CISA designation in 2002. He also acquired CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation in 2006. As a certified professional, he often provides lectures, trainings and seminars for many organizations.
Novaldy Antonio, B.Bis
Prior to Veda Praxis, Novaldy worked for one of Big four for 5 years where he gained most of his experience as IT auditor. Prior to that, Novaldy worked as a System Analyst and responsible for internal system development for a manufacturing company. He has practical experience in implementing, managing, and administering Novel Network and Windows NT network and has worked with Oracle Database and BPCS in AS/400 environment as an implementer. He also has practical experience in writing an application using Java (JDK), Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 and Microsoft Access Database.
Harry Dahlan He engaged in many types of industries, such Banking and Multi finance, Construction, and also manufacturing. His key assignments are in General and Application Control Audit, Information Technology Strategic Plan Development, Information System Review, Standard Operating Procedure and Policy Development, System Analysis and Design, and also Business Process review. Most of his major clients are Bank Muamalat, Bank JABAR, Bank JAMBI, PT Jamsostek, PT Citramas Teknikmandiri, PT Tossa Shakti, PT Brantas Abipraya and others. |
In 1999, he joined Technology and Security Risks Services (TSRS, previously known as ISAAS) group of Ernst & Young to use his experiences on IT and knowledge on accounting systems. During more than four years in Ernst & Young, he was specialized in banking business processes, network management and IT security issues. He also has experience in other industries, such as manufacturing, insurances and financial service industry. In many engagements, He was in-charge on technical IT issues and its relation with security aspects, such as: network, hardware, system development and operating system parameter setting.
Currently Oskar is a Partner of Veda Praxis, Control Advisory.
Novaldy holds a bachelor degree in Business Information System from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. During his career, he has experience in General Control Audit, System Alignment Review, Information System Review, Data Analysis Support, Network and Security audit and System Analysis and Design. He also has experience in various types of industries such as banking & finance, telecommunication, oil & gas, manufacturing, and retailing. His major previous clients are for example: Bank Mandiri, Bank Niaga, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII), Bursa Efek Jakarta (BEJ), Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI), PT Telkom Indonesia, Telkomsel, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Global Santa Fe, PT Hero Supermarket, etc.
